FAQs
All Little Wildflower beauties are made out of polymer clay. Polymer clay is an oven bake modeling material composed of polymers, resins, coloring agents and fillers. Not a natural clay, it is man-made from a plastic, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base. Polymer clay is an incredibly light material making even the largest pieces of jewellery super easy to wear! The earring posts are made out of hypo-allergenic stainless steel and are fantastic for people who have sensitive ears. You should feel comfortable to wear your Little Wildflowers all day long.
How do I care for my new Wildflowers?
Unlike normal flowers, these pretties need to be stored away from direct sunlight and should be kept dry. Keep them away from lotions and perfumes as they can eat away at the clay (just let your applied perfumes and lotions dry before putting your jewellery on). Do not bend them. We recommend hanging your earrings, especially tassel earrings, on a Bon Maxie earring board. Please remember that as sturdy as your new Wildflowers are, they will not win in a fight against the pocket in your handbag or a fall to the floor! Do not lay items on top or shove your jewellery inside of full bags. Just remember, clay is not indestructible! By following all of the guidelines above you will lower your chance of weakening or breaking your gorgeous jewellery.
Don't fret! This is just another job that the trusty wet wipe (fragrance free is best) or damp cloth can handle! Just wipe your jewellery clean and carefully dry with a towel or tissue.
